Physicians, surgeons, doctors, medical faculty staff, physician assistants, nurses or other qualified personnel can dictate medical transcription to us from home or the office at any time. The voice files (which are recorded digitally) are then sent to our in-house transcriptionists.
Audio is transcribed by real people. Each transcriptionist must undergo a rigorous evaluation of their skills which are based on The Association for Health Care Documentation Integrity (AHDI) formerly the American Association for Medical Transcription (AAMT) standards before we allow them to work on your dictation. Our medical transcription operators are highly qualified, trained and experienced. Training is a continual process. All work performed by our transcriptionists is reviewed, proofread, and verified using the latest medical resources to ensure accuracy. Medical abbreviations, drug and pharmaceutical names are not a problem.
After going through our rigorous editing process; reports are delivered to your computer via our FTP server, dedicated TASP server or integrated into your Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system/Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
These reports can be sent in encrypted files from our secure FTP Server, through our website with a log in dedicated to you or in encrypted e-mail attachments in Microsoft Word/Word Perfect format. These files are coded for your tracking using an extremely user friendly coding convention. You are given a user ID and password to access these transcriptions. Since you will have the digital transcription report file delivered right to your computer (PC), you can make those pesky little changes in the document and then print the report right away and the report will stay forever on your computer to retrieve for reprints, etc.
The transcribed document can now be edited and printed.
If we are integrating the transcription directly into your EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system/Electronic Health Record (EHR) system it can be reviewed and edited there or instructions to revise it can be sent by audio to us.
